The Museum of Flowers is a small natural history museum located in the forests of the Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve, a few kilometres from the medieval village of Torre Alfina and the town of Acquapendente

Housed in the Casale Giardino, an old rural building, the museum offers an interactive and multimedia experience dedicated to exploring the floral biodiversity of the reserve.
The museum is divided into several sections that delve into various aspects of the world of flowers, from their botanical characteristics to their ecological relationships with insects and other organisms. Through educational workshops, a playroom and interactive exhibits, visitors can deepen their understanding of the plant species found in the reserve and the local traditions associated with flowers, such as the Pugnaloni Festival of Acquapendente.

Outside the museum, the Flower Nature Trail allows visitors to explore the surrounding environment, providing another opportunity to observe local flora in its natural setting. The museum actively collaborates with universities and research institutes, making it a hub for botanical and environmental studies.
The Museum of Flowers is an ideal destination for families, students and nature enthusiasts, offering an educational and engaging experience that celebrates the beauty and diversity of plants.
Thanks to its location within a protected area and its facilities—including multimedia programs, a herbarium, a laboratory and a library—the museum is also a valuable resource for university students, PhD students and researchers in the fields of botany, zoology, ecology, forestry, pedologic science and geology.
