NEW ENTREPRENEURIAL MODELS FOR THE MICRO-ECONOMY OF THE VILLAGE

Support for local businesses and the development of human capital are the cornerstones of the fourth axis of Trevinano’s regeneration, aimed at stimulating a local economy capable of growing sustainably in the long term. The creation of new businesses, strengthening existing ones and enhancing natural and cultural resources are essential to fostering employment and ensuring the social and economic revival of the village.

With a strong focus on the economic sustainability of the initiative, the project has supported the establishment of a community cooperative as a strategic entity capable of coordinating and activating positive development processes and promoting the territory.

The “Antica Terra” community cooperative acts as a catalyst for local energy. Thanks to an ongoing process of co-design and targeted mentoring, the cooperative will manage and coordinate a range of initiatives, from tourism services to promoting the natural and cultural heritage as well as managing hospitality facilities such as the scattered hotel, guesthouse and camper area. In this way, the cooperative will contribute to creating integrated, high-quality tourism, meeting the various needs of visitors while fostering synergistic collaboration between residents and tourists.

Additionally, through the management of restaurants and the promotion of local products, the cooperative will become a key player in showcasing the territory’s gastronomic excellence, consolidating culinary traditions and supporting local agricultural production. This collective model encourages active participation in the village’s economic life, creating new job opportunities and strengthening social bonds among residents.

Simultaneously, the project includes a series of financial support tools aimed at promoting the creation and development of new businesses aligned with the “Trevinano Ri-Wind” strategy. With the help of economic incentives, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups will be supported in their growth. Strategic consultancy will also be added for innovation, digitalization and internationalization, helping existing businesses to become more competitive and expand their markets.
This initiative will contribute to diversifying the local economy and creating new professional opportunities, with a positive impact on employment and generational integration. Moreover, these tools will help counteract youth emigration and population aging, encouraging the settlement of young talent in the village.
